These terms govern your use of hkdancestudios.co.uk(“the site”), operated by HK Dance Studios. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms cover the website only. Booking a class with us is a separate contract: when you book a trial or enrol a dancer, you will receive our class terms and conditions, which set out fees, attendance, cancellation, refunds, and code of conduct. Nothing in these website terms removes any consumer rights you have under UK law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. Who we are
HK Dance Studios is operated by Dionne Dalton (with HK Dance Studios Ltd registration in progress) at Summerhill Farm, Noak Bridge, Billericay CM11 2UJ.

2. Using the site
You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe anyone else’s rights or restrict their use. You must not:
- Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or harmful
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its servers
- Introduce viruses, trojans, or other malicious code
- Scrape, copy, or republish substantial parts of the site without our written permission
3. Trial enquiries through the site
When you submit our trial-booking form, you are sending us an enquiry, not paying for or confirming a class. We will reply to confirm availability and next steps. Class fees, where applicable, are paid separately, in person or by bank transfer, under our class terms.
Your statutory right to cancel a service contract within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 applies where it is legally required. Where a service starts during the cancellation period with your express request, you may be charged for the part already delivered.
4. Information accuracy
We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but cannot guarantee it is free of errors or omissions. Class times, venues, fees, and teachers are subject to change. The current schedule is the one we confirm when you book.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the site – text, photographs, video, logos, illustrations, and the underlying design – is owned by or licensed to HK Dance Studios. You may view it for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use it for any other purpose without our written permission.
“HK Dance Studios” and the HK wordmark are unregistered trade marks of the business.
6. Links to other sites
The site may link to third-party sites such as Google, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or TikTok. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
7. Liability
The site is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it available and working but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to services that are not provided with reasonable care and skill, or are otherwise not as described. Advice about consumer rights is available from Citizens Advice.
8. Photographs and video at classes
We may take photographs and video at classes, showcases, and the annual show, for use on our website, social media, printed marketing, and pitching to media. Image and video use is based on the consent of the parent or guardian (or the dancer if 18 or over).
You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@hkdancestudios.co.uk. On withdrawal we will stop new use and remove existing material from our own channels as soon as reasonably practicable. We cannot recall material already in print or shared by third parties.
9. Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy policy and Cookies policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its “last updated” date, applies to use of the site from that date onwards.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
