Meet the Team
Real venues, real credits, real tenure. Not “passionate instructors”, a small crew of working dancers who chose to stay.

Cruise ships. Disneyland Paris. Opened HK at 18. A thousand students later, still teaching every week.
Dionne opened HK at eighteen, as a single class in a community hall in Kingswood. Twenty-three years, four venues and over a thousand students later, the school is still family-run and Dionne is still in the studio every week. The Billericay HQ is hers. So is the phone, when you call.
Before HK she danced on cruise ships and at Disneyland Paris. That working-dancer background is the reason every teacher you’ll meet at HK has done the job before they came to teach it — Dionne built the school around that bar.
If you book a trial, Dionne is the person who’ll call you back. If your child stays, she’s the person you’ll see at the door most weeks. That has not changed in twenty-three years and is not going to.

The wider team
Between them, Ethan, Holly and Holly cover the older age groups, acro and tricks, and the aerial side of the school. All three danced or competed at a level worth mentioning before they came to teach.

Dance
World Hip Hop Finalist 2019. Backed Adam Lambert. Britain’s Got Talent.
Ethan started here as one of Dionne’s students. He danced through every age group, took the credits the world will throw at a dancer in their twenties — World Hip Hop Final, Britain’s Got Talent, touring as a backing dancer for Adam Lambert — and came back to teach the next set of kids.
He runs the older age groups and the elite team sessions. Parents who watched him grow up in the studio now watch him teach. That arc — local kid, real career, came home — is the one we’re proudest of.
Teacher
Acro · Tricks
National-level gymnast for 8 years. CPA grad. Cruise ships. Teaching full-time since 2023.
Holly trained as a national-level gymnast for eight years before crossing into dance. She graduated from CPA, spent a season on cruise ships, then joined us full-time in 2023 to run the acro and tricks side of the school.
If your child wants to flip, tumble and build the kind of body control that turns into real tricks, Holly is the one they’ll be working with. She teaches with the patience of a coach who knows what 800 hours of training looks like — and what a first cartwheel feels like.
Teacher
Silks · Hoop · Circus
Eight years aerialist. Trained at Circocan in Brazil. Hoop, silks, trapeze and rope specialist.
Holly is our aerial specialist — eight years in the air, trained at Circocan in Brazil, working across hoop, silks, trapeze and rope. She runs the aerial classes at our Billericay HQ on the rigged apparatus.
Aerial is one of those disciplines that looks impossible from the outside and turns out to be teachable from the first session if the instructor knows what they’re doing. Holly does. She starts with grip, posture and trust, and builds from there.
Why we teach this way
Every teacher here started as someone’s first class. They remember what that felt like, and they teach the way they wish they’d been taught.
The first class is free
Come find us this week. Pick a venue, pick a day, and we’ll see you on the floor. Dionne will call you back the same day to confirm.
