Dionne opened HK in 2003 because nobody else in Essex was teaching street dance properly. Twenty-three years later she still books every trial, runs every venue handover, and answers her own phone. When you book, you’ll hear from her, not a receptionist.

From two-and-a-half all the way to grown adult. Tots, juniors, teens and adult classes run weekly. Tell us your child’s age when you book and we’ll match them to the right class.
Both. Most of our students just come for the love of it. Some go on to compete with our Elite team. Your kid never has to do either, the trial class is a normal class.
Most kids in their first class have never danced before. We start with a warm-up and a name game. No spotlight, no audition. Parents welcome to sit on the side, most stay. By the second time, your child will know two of the kids’ names. By the fourth, they’ll know everyone.
